East Pierce County’s Hometown Hospital

Good Samaritan Foundation is here because our community is committed to caring for its own, close to home.

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, East Pierce County’s only hospital, provides family-centered, compassionate care for patients at every stage of life. It is noted throughout the region for its innovative facilities and programs, including the Family Birth Center and Nursery, Accredited Chest Pain Center, Adult Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, and the Children’s Therapy Unit. The Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the state.

When you support Good Sam, you help ensure that people in our community get the high-quality care they deserve. Thanks to your ongoing commitment we can purchase the latest equipment, attract the most talented specialists and provide the kind of hospital facilities that meet the needs of East Pierce County. Thank you for being there for Good Samaritan – so that Good Sam can be there for you.

Where the Need Is Greatest

This fund is allocated by volunteers from the community who serve on the Good Samaritan Foundation Board of Directors. They decide "where the need is greatest" for the year.

Helping Hands

These funds are used by social workers in direct support of patients and families who need a little extra help. It pays for items the patient urgently needs but cannot afford, such as prescriptions or a cab ride home.

CTU Endowment

This permanent endowment ensures that children who need specialized therapies to reach their full potential will receive the help they need, regardless of insurance limitations or ability to pay. Watch video.
