Students Working Wonders for
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital
Kids Helping Kids!
Students from schools throughout the region meet and work together to help the young patients of Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and their families. Through Students Working Wonders, students develop leadership skills by connecting with the community and making a difference in the lives of others. Members raise money for a variety of causes that help sick and injured children. A favorite is Tree House, a place for family members to stay while a child is hospitalized.
Students organize and manage fundraisers that have included everything from powderpuff football games and dodge ball tournaments to coin drops and custom-designed reusable grocery bags.
Student Working Wonders is currently active in many South Sound high schools and welcomes middle schools as well. The group meets once a month during the school year to help mentor new members and host philanthropic events benefiting Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.
