About the Foundations of MultiCare
There are four foundations that provide funding for uncompensated care and special programs associated with the five hospitals and numerous clinics that are part of MultiCare Health System. The foundations are:
Good Samaritan Foundation — supporting Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, the Children's Therapy Unit, Hospice, the Rehabilitation Unit, Behavioral Health, and the East Pierce County community.
Mary Bridge Children's Foundation — supporting Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Tree House: A Place for Families, the Child Abuse Intervention Department, and Bridges: A Center For Grieving Children. All serve children and their families throughout southwestern Washington.
MultiCare Health Foundation — supporting Allenmore Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, MultiCare clinics throughout the South Sound, the MultiCare Institute for Research and Innovation, Tree House: A Place for Families, the Katterhagen Cancer Center, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Center for Healthy Living and the local and regional community.
South King Health Foundation — our newest foundation will be a partnership with the South King County community and will support Auburn Medical Center, Covington Emergency Department and other MultiCare clinics and programs.
Campaigns and Featured Programs
Building Dreams Together: The MultiCare Campaign for Healthy Children includes the first three of our foundations.
Celebrate Kindness is a thoughtful way to recognize excellent care received at MultiCare. Through this program gifts can be made in your caregiver’s honor (doctor, nurse, staff, or volunteer) to support MultiCare’s mission to provide quality patient care to all in our community.
BRIDGES: A Center for Grieving Children is a grief support center serving families with children ages 4 through 18 who have experienced the serious illness of a family member, or the death of a relative or friend.
