MultiCare Health Foundation supports patients receiving care from Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, Gig Harbor Medical Park, MultiCare Behavioral Health, the MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation, and clinics throughout western Pierce and Kitsap counties. Your generosity helps provide expert care for premature infants, heart and stroke patients, cancer patients, hospice patients and families and those who need emergency care. It also supports Tree House, a place for families to stay while a baby or child is hospitalized.

Where the Need Is Greatest
Volunteers from the community who serve on the MultiCare Health Foundation Board use this fund to help programs with the greatest funding needs each year.
Tree House: A Place for Families
Tree House is a renovated apartment building that gives family members a place to stay while their loved one is hospitalized. This program is especially important to the parents of fragile newborns who may spend several weeks in Tacoma General's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Tree House gives families a place to sleep, shower, prepare a meal and support one another.
Home Health, Hospice & Palliative Care
Sometimes patients need care and support beyond — or instead of — medical treatment. Your donations help provide comfort and relief from stress and pain for people recovering from illness or injury, managing serious health conditions or who are at the end of life.
Institute for Research & Innovation
MultiCare has been involved with clinical research studies for more than 25 years. The MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation offers a range of research studies at hospitals and clinics throughout the South Puget Sound region. Your donation supports breakthrough medical research right here in our own communities.
Adult Day Health
The MultiCare Adult Day Health Center is a community-based program that helps adults with special developmental and medical needs live as independently as possible. It's a safe, supportive, compassionate environment where these adults receive companionship, health management, and advocacy. Adult Day Health is funded by generous donor support.
